1938 Zenith Tombstone Radio

Here we have a beautiful 1938 Zenith Tombstone Radio. This radio features a beautiful gold dial Zenith transoceanic receiver for station broadcast, shortwave radio reception, and police calls. The 6 tube chassis is the original, and currently the radio lights up and speaker volume works, but it needs a new tuning band to dial in broadcasts. Any radio shop or restorer, should be able to do this as well as provide a good component cleaning and adjustments.

The wood and faux wood cabinet is in very good condition, with some minor wood checking on the top, that is easily touched up. The radio measures 13.8 wide x 17.6 high x 9.5 deep.

Once the few repairs are made, it would be a decorative operating radio, that would be a centerpiece in any office, den, or collectors addition.
