Insert AC plug here for Battery Operation. Wave Magnet must be Snapped on the cover for normal operation. The construction was very rugged (this TO weighs 8 kilos, which is for almost 5 kg due to its sturdy wood case) to survive in whatever condition, and the radio was equipped with various antennas so as to prove of use in many conditions.

For example, the MW loop antenna (called Wave Magnet) could be taken out of the case and connected via an extension cable, to put it outside a hiding cave or vehicle. Its case front flips up instead of down unlike removable Clipper cover of early WWII Model. Its case is covered in "Black Stag" leatherette, the most common covering for tube-powered Trans Oceanics. The bottom of the case front also flips down to expose the integrated operator's manualabout a dozen slender pages printed on stiff black paper and permanently mounted with a wire-O type binding. It has antennas for shortwave reception. It has a compartment below the chassis is where you would place the large TransOceanic battery. Used- Old - Original - Unframed. Thick Sheet paper - Depicting Nurses entertaining child's, enjoying creative activities. Size - Close - 17.0" x 11.0" x 7.5 Max. Condition - USED, OVER ALL VERY GOOD Condition Collectible. Working Not tested, Looks to be complete with Wiring , Plug & all parts & belongings. It is in need of a good clean. Please photos and ask questions.

A historical relevant item - Good for Collection or Use as it is or best to your findings. Note that the carrying handle is broken /Missing , not available with this offer. Its tuning dial on on the left side missing /not available with cover.

Its dial plastic cover is dirty and mild damage, does not stand accurately. Original case, front lock working properly, Case condition is aged, It has scratch/ faded color and mild cloth crack, to me. All good under its condition. Check out my other listings.
