At 19 inches tall and 14 inches wide it has quite a presence. It was certainly the centerpiece and focal point of an American Familys home in the late 1930s and 1940s. This is a superb example of the American Art Deco era for the late 1930s. This radio has been electronically restored and picks up many stations across the dial. The radio has very nice reception with no hum. After warming up, this 82 year old radio produces excellent volume and good sound from the front mounted speaker.
A new power cord was installed for safety. The radio has the original Zenith wood knobs. The walnut veneered cabinet is beautifully restored with a flawless lacquer finish and trimmed tones.
The grille cloth is a reproduction of the original pattern. Every detail was reproduced to keep the original look.
