Rare Vintage Zenith 7S529 Black Dial Tube Radio from 1940 Working & Beautiful

The 7S529 was one of Zeniths top of the line table models in 1941. This unit holds its original beauty. This model features a beautiful American walnut cabinet with a large wrap around grill. The radio has a spectacular black dial and is surrounded by six tone control switches. It also has five push button station controls referred to by Zenith as the Automatic Tuning function. The dial uses a white arrow indicator located on the bottom of the dial to show you your band selection. The dial glass is clear and chip-free. The radio has 7 tubes, a 6.5 inch speaker.

Controls include the band selection knob on the left (SW2/SW1/BC/Automatic), plus Turning and On/Volume knob-pair on the right and the 6 tone switches. The controls and dial pointer work smoothly. The radio measures 16x9.5x10.

Since this is an AC transformer set it is fairly heavy weighing in at18 pounds.
