0ZF 8 tube deluxe radio for 1950/49 Ford Car, and I believe it will fit a 1951/1952 Ford truck -- but, do your own research. A clean set and easy to restore to its former glory.
Radio plays strong, loud and clear and good station selectivity. You will receive distant stations at night. All wax/paper and electrolytic condensers replaced. Any other questionable components were replaced. All strong tubes tested on military Hickok TV-7 B/U. All tubes are FoMoCo script glass tubes. All controls and tuning mechanism cleaned, lubed, and adjusted to work properly.
Power supply rebuilt with solid state vibrator for quiet operation and less current draw. All work carefully performed by former U.This set can only operate on 6 volts positive ground, as original design. Radio will be properly packed. Please note that antenna connections are very critical. About Me: I have been passionate about radio since I knew what it was. Hobbyist for over 50 years.
After the Army, my professional career was in industrial HVAC. Now retired from hitting the clock every day, I still take some HVAC maintenance jobs, but most enjoy doing radio work. It is a good life!
