Heres a Zenith 5-S-220 cube radio, circa 1938. All the electrolytic and wax paper capacitors have been replaced these are the parts that typically fail due to the passage of time. The dial has new light bulbs and does light up. The finish on the cabinet has been beautifully restored. The grillcloth at the top of the unit is the original Zenith cloth.

The original instruction book is included- how the heck did that survive? There is another short piece of wire coming out the back which I believe is the ground wireI think this was supposed to help with reception when connected to ground but it doesn't appear to be necessary. There was an odd looking plug at the end of this cord which fell off. This piece will be included.

A couple minor issues- one of the three metal shields around the tubes is missing, and one screw underneath that holds the chassis in has been replaced. Also the speaker cone seems to be rubbing a bit at higher volumes and on the "bass" setting, but you can get a decent listening volume in treble mode. The chassis shows some general dingyness from age and some corrosion in places.
