All capacitors have been replaced on this set. The tubes have tested strong. All resistors have been tested for the allowed tolerance and the set has been aligned. The tube layout for this 5 tube set is as follows: 6A8, 6Q7, 6K7, 6K6, 6X5 , accompanied by the original 6 inch Zenith speaker # 49-244, which has been completely re-built. It has a new voice coil and a new paper cone. For best reception, an extension wire about 6 feet long, will need to be connected to the yellow tip wire, which I have routed through to exit at the center of the chassis.

After checking all of the cabinet joints for weakness or cracking, the overall finish process was applied, using a High Build High Gloss Sanding Sealer and finally a Real Lacquer finish sealer and the two color toning. All of our cabinets are restored inside and out. The inside of this cabinet has a new coat of Zenith Blue then sealed. We use only the best High Build Lacquer or Shellac Products designed for wood surface applications. And we never use Automotive Urethane clear coatings or Polyurethanes on our cabinets.

The grille cloth has been replaced with our very own Soldier Gold pattern , which is very close to the original. Our packaging can be verified through feedback testimonials.
