ZENITH TABLE RADIO Mdl. 5S218 CUBE Restored

This is one of the finer examples of this popular Zenith I have seen. It came through a second party who acquired it from the estate of a restorer. The cabinet has been refinished to a high standard. The chassis is rust free and very clean. The filter caps have been replaced.

A new cloth covered cord has been installed. The knobs are correct Zenith. Oh, and the radio plays great! I make every effort to accurately describe and photograph my radios, but Im a better technician than salesman, so bear with me.

I have been repairing and restoring radios since the USAF taught me how in 1953! I guarantee the work I have done, i. But cant predict if something unpredictable becomes defective. If when you get it it doesnt work, contact me and perhaps we can find a simple fix; loose tube, etc. Im obsessive about careful packing..

I will be adding more radios until most of my collection is in the hands of new custodians. Some are Plain Jane, but others you might like to see.
