Zenith Vacuum Tube Table AM FM Radio Wood Cabinet Restored Natural Wicker K731

Made in the USA in the 1960s. This radio has been serviced: Several aged capacitors were replaced on November 15, 2018 by a professional radio technician. All the tubes were tested.

They all tested good with the exception of the 35C5 tube, which tested weak. The wood cabinet was cleaned with Murphy wood cleaner and polished with Howard Orange Oil and Beeswax Polish & Conditioner today. The glass dial was cleaned and polished. The camera flash light makes the scratches on the cabinet stand out more on the photos. The cabinet actually looks very nice and clean under normal light.

The natural wicker front/speaker grill is mostly intact. I will bubble-wrap the radio. I cannot guarantee the front grill will arrive intact, because the wicker is becoming brittle with age. This radio has very good reception and the sound is loud and clear.

However, when turning the volume knob all the way down, one can still hear some faint sound coming out of the speaker. In other words, one cannot turn the volume completely to zero. He dial pointer is not perfectly straight. Guaranteed to be as described.
