1936 ZENITH TOMBSTONE TABLETOP TUBE RADIO MODEL #29--RARE ZENITH TOMBSTONE! The only way I could identify this radio was in Mark V.

Stein's Machine Age to Jet Age volume one. This picture also shows the knobs on this radio.

The knobs might be reproductions, but they look correct. This tall wooden beauty was introduced in 1936 and features a lower centered round black dial with a gorgeous deco escutcheon, upper grille clothe with cut-outs and four knobs. The cabinet of this Zenith radio is in good condition, showing average age and use wear. There is some loose veneer on the bottom right edge, and some veneer splitting on the left side lower trim. When I got this radio, it was missing three tubes, so I put in all fresh and tested 6F6, 5Y3 and 6B6 tubes.

It also looks like the speaker has some damage. This tall Zenith beauty measures approximately 13"x8 1/2" and stands about 18 tall. Feedback will be left after feedback is received. I will contact you through e-bay to let you know I mailed your item.
