Rarely offered for sale, this is the gold and glass tube model, one of the rarer options. It also looks complete, except for the back cover missing, with repro covers being available elsewhere.

It did NOT power up, and I did not dig into it any further. It measures 14.25" wide, 8" tall, and 8 deep. The good: There are no deep scratches in the wood, so that should restore nicely.

Much more complete then most, just missing the back cover. The dial looks ok, but there is a moth nest you can see behind the glass. I cant see any cracked glass rods. The bad: missing back, needs electrical restoration, bottom white button (vertical) does not come all the way out on its own. Sticker on bottom front corner, Needs a good cleaning.

The glass rods are very dirty, which makes the appearance of cracks, but I dont see any cracks. Will be packed carefully, with the inside stuffed to prevent tube damage, and the radio bubble wrapped to protect it.

I want it to arrive safely as much as you do. A must have radio for a serious Zenith collector.
