1942 Zenith wood tabletop vintage vacuum tube radio SHORTWAVE! WORKING

Made in 1942 this is a seldom seen dual band wood tabletop by Zenith with an attractive blue and black dial. It is a model # 6-D-512.

This radio has original finish in above average condition for being nearly 77 years old. Original brass dial pointer, iconic "Z" white plastic knobs and grill cloth. It plays very well all across the dial having been electronically restored. This is one of the rare small tabletops that has the shortwave band. It has a internal wave-magnet antenna and six tubes for better reception.

It also has a 5 round speaker for better acoustics. The radio retains it factory original back panel.
