1946 ZENITH Tube Radio, 6D030, Tube Type, Wood Table Top WORKING SURVIVOR

Offered is a working survivor Zenith Model 6D030 Z tube radio with a 6C05 chassis. Appears to be original with a few replacement tubes only. It powers up and brought in a couple local stations with no hum. Signal was subject to interference when moving or touching the radio. Volume and selector combination knob is very good with no breaks or splits.

Original plastic channel window is detached at one end but stays in place. Original cloth speaker covers are very good. Cabinet is good with original footpads and is sound. It does have one piece of missing veneer top left front. The finish has cracking and other nicks from age.

Chassis, speaker and antenna appear very good with a good working power indicator light. Back panel is average to good with a few creases and corners that hold. Wiring and connections all appear to be original. Original power cord is working but only in fair condition due to deterioration of the insulation.
