1950 Antique Zenith H725 AM/FM Vintage Bakelite Tube Radio Restored & Working

Zenith H-725 has been restored. The cabinet has been cleaned and polished to bring out original factory finish. The electrolytic capacitors were replaced and the paper capacitors as well. The resistors were checked and replaced as needed. The volume control, tone control and tuning were lubed so they operate smoothly.

Both dial cords were replaced. The selenium rectifier was replaced with a silicone diode for safety and reliability. The intermediate and radio frequency circuits were aligned to their peak. The chassis was cleaned and polished and the power cord was replaced. The tubes were tested and replaced as needed. The radio back is original and has a loop antenna for local reception. Radio does have one small blemish on the dial but is hardly noticeable. There are no cracks or breaks in the cabinet. This radio has a 7.5 inch speaker and has a very nice sound to it.
