1951 Zenith COBRA MATIC H664 Variable Speed Phonograph/Radio Tube Amp - As Is. In 1950, Zenith introduced the Cobra-Matic variable speed automatic record changer the first and only changer that plays any speed record now made or yet to come, 10 rpm to 85... With two simple controls a six-year-old can operate. This particular model is highly prized among collectors and admired for its mid-century design that takes its design cues from the Detroit road queens of the 50s. This is one gorgeous hunk of Bakelite!

Condition: This unit is Used/As Is, but it would not take much for someone with repair skills to bring it back to its former glory. I have seen a few of these, but none in the wild in this condition. Turntable works with a slight push to get it going (probably needs a new drive belt). Cabinet is not perfect and has reasonable wear for its age, but nothing broken. Turntable pad was almost all the way flaked off, so I gently removed what was left of it.

Overall, this is a really cool piece of history, and would be awesome completely restored. Approximate Measurements: 20 1/2" Long x 15 1/2" Wide x 10 Tall (Closed). While we do our best to detail everything, we see wrong with these items, we are not technicians and cannot say with 100% certainty what is wrong or needs repaired.
