1951 Zenith H500 5H40 Trans-Oceanic 5 Tube AM Wave Magnet Portable Radio Works

This vintage Zenith H500 5H40 Trans-Oceanic radio is a great addition to any collection. With its classic design and functional features, this unit is a perfect example of American craftsmanship. The radio works and tuned in several stations and produces good sounds with some static. The radio appears as vintage used with signs of age and wear to the outside but has no damage.

Once the flap is opened is when the beauty of the radio is truly seen with its colors coordinating with each other in a luxurious style. The knobs and buttons are in great shape and seem responsive as they should be. Superhet with RF-stage; ZF/IF 455 kHz.

Broadcast plus more than 2 Short Wave bands. Line / Batteries (any type) / AC/DC 110; 220; Batt. Permanent Magnet Dynamic (PDyn) Loudspeaker (moving coil) / Ø 5.25 inch = 13.3 cm. Leather / canvas / plastic - over other material. Portable set > 8 inch (also usable without mains).
