1941 Zenith radio model 6D512 in a brown bakelite Art Deco era table model cabinet. Here's your chance to own a classic antique radio for a fraction of the cost others here are asking. This Zenith has zero defects that I see.
Very near mint & beautiful working condition check out enlarged photos! The art deco, sleek, streamline machine age look of this beauty is credited to noted industrial designer Robert Davol Budlong. Curved lines contrasting with the horizontal fluting or.
Bakelite cabinet is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or other issues. The overall symmetry of the cabinet is. And the cabinet color(s) contrast nicely with the multi-colored dial, gold dial pointer, and great looking white knobs. Has a bass and treble control setting/switch on the back. I tried some shortwave stations but did not find any.
I believe the shortwave is still working (with the same hum) I heard that shortwave can be tricky to pull in. The dial lights up and "Z" dial pointer and original "Z" knobs are both in near mint condition. The "Z" pointer / tuner moves effortlessly from one end of the dial to the other. Still has original power cord!
