Shaft holes were plugged in the front and re-drilled for the chassis from a General radio. The chassis is licensed by RCA which most are. The tubes were tested and all checked good.
Further inspection revealed the chassis has been recapped sometime in the past. It still has the original dog bone style resistors so we believe that the chassis should be thoroughly inspected, tested and.
Line cord needs to be upgraded. The dial lights work, the dial string is broken, Dial glass and escutcheon are in excellent condition. The speaker and grill cloth are in excellent condition. The two tone wooden cabinet is solid and in excellent condition, it has been refinished in the past as well.Overall, This is a beautiful General radio. There are a few items that need to be addressed but they are minor.
This radio is ready for your collection or to be use for daily enjoyment. Measures: 12" x 9" x 17. Send us your zip code or Country.
