Extremely rare TUBE RADIO vintage 1950's ZENITH L401 SG portable gray NICE

1950's ZENITH model L-401-SG. THE OUTSIDE PRESENTS VERY WELL AND IS CLEAN. IF YOU WANT A TUBE RADIO THAT NO ONE ELSE HAS.....

Please read: Both the volume and tuning knobs rotate. The bakelite pop out handle works like it did on day one. The body has very little signs of use or age. Few scuff marks and a few very small age cracks in plastic.

The battery compartment could use a little further cleaning. There is some corrosion in the inside compartment. I do not have the needed battery type so it has not been tested. The unit looks to have all of its needed tubes.
