Crystal clear dial cover, perfect collapsible antenna, strong, solid wooden cabinet and its black leather covering is excellent. After 70 years of age. The top handle safely "handles" the weight of this beautiful piece, Instruction and map card strips stored in front bottom are readable and attached, Push buttons are in place and working and the four equalizer switches work. The Wave Magnet itself is in perfect condition. The "dial string" has come off the tuning dial system. I have no idea as to how to open the radio to have enough room to re-string it.. Reaching in from the back I manually moved the tuner to retest the Broadcast Band. The Short Wave reception was working before dial string problem. I always enjoyed listening to Ham operators.
