Hallicrafters 1952 TW-1000A World-Wide 8-Band Radio Receiver, Transoceanic like

Here is a Vintage Hallicrafters World Band Radio. It is Hallicrafters answer to the Zenith Transoceanic.

This vintage radio does work. I had to check several bands to find a station, and it come in clearly when I got it on one. It looks pretty good, with some tarnish on its gold knobs, and a part of its chrome trim. It seems to switch to its differents bands fine.

It has its inside removable antenna. It is missing its cabinet handle. I did not have the antennal fully extended, but I did hear static like it was trying to.
