Hallicrafters TW-1000A World-Wide 8-Band Radio Receiver, Transoceanic FIXERUPPER

Here is a Vintage Hallicrafters World Band Radio. It is Hallicrafters answer to the Zenith Transoceanic.

This vintage radio Does Not appear to work.. It looks pretty good with some age wear. It has a bottom corner that will pull loose and looks to need refluxed there.

It looks to be missing an antenna that is usually housed on the inside if it's back cover. Its main antenna looks fine. It seems to switch to its differents bands fine.

It needs a new plug put on its cord. It looks like a worthwhile project, and good unit to fix up.
