Ivory MCM 1955 Owl Eyes Zenith Model Z-515W Clock Radio Now a Bluetooth Speaker

This gorgeous ivory Mid-Century Modern Zenith clock radio (Model Z-515W) is from 1955 and is now a bluetooth speaker. This little gem has the extremely popular "owl eyes" design. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and bluetoothed (replaced the radio function).

The radio is in excellent condition. All original knobs, logos, backer board and gold inserts.

The cabinet is the original factory-molded Bakelite in ivory. One scratch and a small chip on the left side of the radio. The clock works and keeps accurate time.

The clock hands light up in the dark. The power cord and plug are in excellent working condition. The radio was designed with a plug on the back where you can plug in an appliance -- lamp, coffeepot, etc. - and use the timer on the clock to control it. We have installed a switch on the back of the radio that allows you to keep it plugged in (and the clock running) and to toggle the bluetooth on and off.
