MOVING SALE - I'm clearing out a few more radios from my den in preparation for a move. This cute little Owl Eyes radio is in very good physical condition but as I recall needs at least one new tube. So, non-playing at the moment as it won't power on but chassis looks great. The radio looks terrific from every angle and when displayed on my shelf! MATERIAL/CONSTRUCTION: BAKELITE (with other plastic handle). GRADE : 8/10 - gorgeous original cabinet but does not power on/needs service. The original bakelite cabinet was unusual after 1950 and is in excellent condition. Handel is in very good condition as well and is a modern (1950s) plastic - they are usually broken but this one is in great condition. Tested with another K412 power cord and as I recall I meant to get a tube set for this one. Radio did not power on. All original knobs are present and working. The chassis is complete, very clean - as mentioned does not play. Any repair or service charges going forward are your responsibility. Note: These radios are often affected by dimmer switch interference (buzz) and other lighting at my house. This radio does NOT play. Reception may benefit additionally from using the antenna wire depending on your location.
