Petite and Rare Zenith 6D337 Chairside Radio -Original Finish-Repaired & Working
Here for your consideration is a Petite and Rare Zenith 6D337 Chairside Radio from 1938 in Original Finish that has been Repaired and works well. This is the only one of this set I have ever seen. If you look this up on RADIOMUSEUM, they show only the cabinet with no radio in it.
This is the perfect piece for someone who cant fit larger consoles in their collection!! The original escutcheon is nice, and there are no veneer chips on the radio. There are a few scratches, nicks, and wear marks that can be easily covered. I have done nothing to the finish on this radio, and it would really POP with some polish! The set has all the original, correct Zenith knobs. The radio was recently repaired by my tech friend Tom. His invoice, the schematic, and alignment procedure will be included. He changed all 9 capacitors in the set, a 6A8 tube, and aligned it. The gold deco dial looks awesome lit up at night.The magazine slot on the side is a real plus to put a book, magazine, or your TV remote in!!
