The condition is amazing, no chips, no cracks, no surface issues. I carefully removed the back cover to show the inside is also like new, original battery all nice and clean.

This is a very desirable example, great piece of art for your mid century decor. The original case is dried up and somewhat brittle, still displays well with the radio and certainly did its job protecting the radio.
