If the Georgian is breathtaking, than this model is off the hook Amazing. I bought it from a collector after searching for 15 years. This is the only one I found and I paid handsomely for it. That was the most expensive one with a 15 tube chassis in 1938, although not that much more than the Georgian 15U272.
Both are beautiful radios, and command a lot of attention even from non-radio people. This radio easily becomes the centerpiece of any room and guests at my home continuously migrate to this set. Only a hand full of these models is known to exist today. It looks mint to me. The grill cloth is a bit worn, but looks original.
Otherwise it's awesome and works great, green eye and all. There is a sticker on the back from the radio restorer, so it appears the radio was restored by Antique Radio Restore and Repair in Massachusetts.United States of America (USA). Broadcast Receiver - or past WW2 Tuner.
