I plugged in this beautiful ZENITH and after it warmed up I heard music. I immediately turned it off. The dial indicator moves when you turn the knob.

I don't know if the push levers on either side of the dial work. The plastic piece on the right side, (non labeled side) is loose. It moves about an 1/8 from side to side. The finish on the cabinet is in remarkable condition considering it's about 74 years old. I'm not going to plug it back in.
