Vintage 1950's Zenith Wave Magnet Trans-oceanic Tube Short Wave Radio

This listing is for an old radio which I believe is a short wave model from the 1950's. It's a Zenith Wave Magnet Trans-Oceanic model, and it seems to work. I know very little about old radios, so take what I say with a grain of salt and check out the photos. The reception was okay, but not great, and I could barely hear a couple other stations. The old man I bought it from said he listened all the time, and he had it set up in his garage workshop. I can't get the back panel open, and there is something rolling around inside. The volume and dial knobs work fine, but I couldn't get any reception on the other bands. The dial light doesn't work.

I have hundreds of antiques and collectibles listed in my store. All of my items were found in estate sales and cleanouts on Cape Cod. None of the items have been touched by the public, just stored in totes. All items have been stored for weeks or thoroughly washed. Priority is much faster, no doubt.

I pack carefully, and fragile items will always be in an ample-sized, sturdy box with lots of bubble wrap and foam peanuts used. I always use recycled peanuts, and I use sturdy used boxes whenever I can.
