Vintage 1950 Zenith TransOceanic Tube Radio Model H500 Shortwave Original Works
Vintage Zenith Trans Oceanic Tube Radio from Circa 1950, model H500 - Chassis 5H40. Plenty of volume and static sounds on the other bands so I think those will work too just dont know much about SW bands and how to pull in the stations best, etc. The antenna fully extends, Case is very nice for its 70 years with all original parts, even has an extra set of tubes (unknown condition) Please look at all the pictures, looks amazing! Comes with a bunch of original paperwork from 1950, the manual, a schematic, a brochure, a world time map and a print from the internet about the H500 radio.
The owner was a military man that became a Ham radio operator until he passed some 11 years ago. Radio was well-kept, in a climate-controlled home and they were non-smokers.
