Vintage Restoration Piece Zenith Trans-Oceanic G500 Shortwave Radio

This is a really unique piece in my opinion. I would say from the early'50's?? This is what he told me. I hope I have all this information accurate.

It is hard to find and critical to the radio. The radio lights up but does not pull in stations. That's about all I know about it. I hope there is someone out there that can restore it. You will receive everything that is showing in the pictures.
