Vintage Zenith Cobra Matic Model J664 Tube Radio & Phonograph Bakelite Case

VINTAGE ZENITH COBRA MATIC MODEL J664 TUBE RADIO & PHONOGRAPH BAKELITE CASE. Handsome antique Zenith Cobra-Matic tube radio and phonograph in very nice condition. This unit has a deep brown bakelite cabinet with no chips or cracks. The case is marked on the bottom "Model J664".

The turntable spins at all speeds, but the needle is hanging by the wires, so the record player is untested. The power cord is a bit stiff, but not cracked or broken. There is wear near the turning knobs and on the tuner, a burnt mark (the size of a dime) on the top of the case, and some light scuffs.

Some of the fuzzy on the turntable has come off. The unit measures 19" long, 15" wide and 9 1/2 tall; weighs 30 pounds! This classic Zenith Cobra-Matic is a great candidate for restoration and will be a pleasure to listen to and display beautifully once restored.
