Vintage Zenith R511V 1955 Atomic Red AM Tube Radio Plastic Powers On For Repair

A rare vintage Zenith model R511V circa 1955 in good complete condition, front panel is in near perfect shape. This unit has a loud hum and will not receive signals, likely will need capacitors and a few new tubes. All original components are present on this example and the plastic case is in good condition, there is a crack in the plastic on top of this unit along with a small melted area, both of these areas are shown in the photos. The mode number information and a basic schematic of the radio can be found on the bottom of the metal chassis. The dimensions of this item are 6x6x12 inches.

The back panel was not removed however two photos were taken through the cutouts in the back to show the condition of the circuitry. The interior looks to be very clean and free of debris and rust. Please view all of the photos carefully before purchasing this item.
