Vintage Zenith Trans-Oceanic Wave Magnet Radio Powers On L600 (no batt) 1954

Zenith, Transoceanic, Short Wave radio, Model L600. It was built in 1954 only my Zenith book says and the R600 superseded it in 1955.

This radio still has its original wave magnet; as you can see the plastic face is still in great shape which you very seldom see, they usually have a crack down the face. The antenna is intact and moves up down very freely and all dials and push buttons work just fine. The recoil cord comes in from the side and works very nice also. All the leather on the outside is in pretty good shape for its age. The radio comes with its Broadcast book, operations manual.
