A nice piece of American radio history, with following specs. Manufactured in 1953 by Zenith also known as Chicago Radio Lab. Superhet, with RF stage, ZF/IF 455 KHz, 5 tube. Wave bands, BC and 6x SW (4-8, 2-4 Mc, 16, 19, 25, 31 M).
Power Supply, Either 110-120 V AC or 9 and 90 V batteries. Portable model, leather/canvas over wooden case. Conelrad markings, Civil Defense on the dial at 640, 1240 KHz. Tone settings for treble, bass, voice, alto. Telescopic antenna for BC and Waveband for reception in enclosed spaces.
Comes with manual and logs and charts. Power cable on cord reel.
