Zenith 1946 8h032 Chassis-8c20 Tabletop / Wood Cabinet Radio

Seventy-five years ago, a classic was created. In 1946, Zenith produced a classic; the 8H032 Tabletop radio was one of the greatest combinations of giving the public high efficiency and sound quality in a compact, artistically appealing body (See photos). All electronic parts are present, and undamaged. The gold mesh speaker screen is in perfect condition, free of tears, nicks and is still tight within the frame.

The only deficit is found in the cardboard backing, where a thin are of its right side is missing, but that piece is otherwise in good condition, still bearing the Zenith stamp. Zenith Model: 8H032 / Chassis-8C20. Superhet with RF-stage; ZF/IF 455 kHz. Broadcast (BC) and FM or UHF. Woven gold mesh speaker screen & Electro - Magnetic Dynamic loud speaker (moving - coil with field excitation coil). Alternating Current supply (AC) / 117 Volt. Solid WOOD case / Tabletop. By any measure, this is a valuable artifact in excellent condition for its age and type of construction.
