ZENITH'30's Antique Wood Tube Radio Black Dial Tombstone Rare / Beautiful

The tombstone styled cabinet is an absolute stunner. Model 4-V-31, one of the most elegant Zenith designs! Beautiful wood grain flows throughout the entire set. The grooved pinstripe inlay that runs around the dial, coupled with the large intricate cut grill, certainly adds to the appeal. Protruding pillared sides and a recessed front reminds you of why Zenith was second to none when it comes to craftsmanship and design.

Jet black trim adds the perfect contrast to finish the radio off with the upmost elegance and style. Knobs and grille cloth appear to be original and are in nice condition.

This early model Zenith is sure to be the main conversation piece no matter which room in the home or office you choose to display it in. It's an older restoration that is still in extremely good condition in which the cabinet has not been over finished to highlight this wonderful Art Deco design.

Electronically, this set plays well and has a rare switchable 6v - 110v chassis design. Dimensions: 11 3/4" W x 15 1/2 H x 9 1/2" D. As a long time collector & enthusiast, this specific radio is a personal favorite and will not disappoint!
