ZENITH 6D030 TUBE RADIO Completely Refurbished Walnut 1946 Eames Design Nice

Commissioned by Zenith to build the cabinet for the 6D030. "Ray and Charles Eames", Well respected industrial engineers, created this masterpiece. Very Unique with Art Deco and industrial design implications. I replaced the dull generic yellow mustard colored speaker cover. Used on all of the 6D030's when manufactured. I chose one that accentuates the art deco curves. The extra tube was added to increase the quality of the sound. Every component on the chassis has been checked and any found out of. I hand sanded this radio to expose the Walnut Veneer you see. Then hand rubbed 6 layers of clear polymer to give the nice sheen to the cabinet. I suggest only rubbing it down with a good quality of Lemon Oil once or twice a year.
