This radio has a built in RCA jack for external devices like Bluetooth and phonographs and a headphone jack for serious DXing. The selenium rectifier has been replaced with a new diode and resistor.
All tubes have been tested as good or better, including the rare and expensive 1L6 modulator tube. There is no rust on the chassis. The case has been cleaned and polished to a satin black.
Brass parts are clean and shiny. The dial and glass are in excellent condition and the band switches are smooth and crisp. The knobs are original and the tone controls work as expected. I've included a polarized AC adapter. All wiring for the original battery operation has been removed. Further, this device uses obsolete technology that was originally manufactured without regard for modern fire and electric shock safety requirements and that those hazards remain despite the restoration. It is recommended that this device not be used unattended and in conjunction with a GFCI device.
