Zenith Radio 6s254 / Guitar Amplifer

If your looking for a compact but powerful classic Zenith you will like the Zenith 6s254. This is perfect for a smaller space.

It has a lower tube count but has five-point tone control, bass boost, "split-second" tuning contorl and "tell-tale" controls. This unit has a ten-inch speaker is perfect to hear that old school sound. The radio features the classic tear-drop (tri-angular) shaped dial that was used only in 1938. We replaced all of the capacitors, checked tubes and resistors and replaced them where necessary. The cabinet has been cleaned and refinished it using high-quality paint, toner and lacquer for a "factory fresh" finish. Note the beautiful quilted maple strips, small damaged area on the top right that has been repaired. We used a period correct grille cloth and the wood Zenith knobs are original.

This radio is gorgeous and a wonderful example of American quality craftsmanship from 1938! 40"H x 24-1/2"W x 14D Its weight is 50 lbs. Pick-up only on this radio.
