It's a model 6 D 512 made in 1941. It one of the last production runs before WWII. This is an amazing radio. It's in excellent original condition. The case has no chips, cracks, or hairline cracks.
This Deco set was designed by Robert Budlong, a Zenith designer who was responsible for many of Zenith's classic radio case designs. Known by collectors as the "Beehive" or "Stack of Pancakes" radio. The foreign countries are marked on the dial. It has the original "Z" knobs for, on/off, band and tuning. The chassis is a strong performer with six tubes, and it has been electronically restored (all caps replaced, resistors and tube check and replaced where necessary). You want find a nicer example of this radio. This radio plays and sounds great on both bands.12"W x 7"H x 6-1/2D. The radio will be double boxed and packed carefully to be sure it arrives safely.
