Zenith radio vintage deco long distance tube kfi knx 6S321 stars and stripes

Here is an old radio that does not lite up. It does not seem to get power. Don't know what the problem is.

The a/c cord looks old and original and probably a good place to start to rule out. The back of the on-off sound dial is hanging.

Looks like it could be glued back in place with no missing plastic which might be unnoticeable. The wood is in C condition or C or minus or D plus considering how old it is.

You make that decision not me. Looks nice enough that it would want to run but I don't know why it does not.

Maybe it is not getting power. You have to take a gamble on this. If you cant take a gamble on this don't get into this.

This is a lifetime Los Angeles radio. The dial face is in nice condition. List many far away stations. Would make a good project. The back is fastened by 2 remaining screws. I bet the dial looks nice at night when it was working. On the back that wire is just where the power cord was rolled up and held to the back. It is not a problem. It might be an easy fix or a harder fix.

I did not try to hide anything. Would make a good movie prop.
