This 80 year old radio has it all! They are rarely found in this good of condition. A smaller tombstone in stature, yet it still has the familiar large black dial and stance of the larger Zeniths. It is absolutely gorgeous and sounds great too. The dial is lit nicely with two bulbs and a visual treat in and of itself.

It is an excellent example of a well maintained radio. The cabinet still has the original stain that was cleaned and rejuvenated. The trim, feet and grill center were given a new coat of toner, then the whole thing was given 3 coats of wax. It still has the original knobs, grill cloth and dial cover, all of which are in immaculate condition. Other than a few small age marks, there is no missing veneer, cracks or other blemishes, which is remarkable.

The chassis was cleaned, serviced and completely restored, with all paper and electrolytic capacitors replaced. Tubes and resistors were replaced as needed.

All electrical contacts and controls were cleaned and lubricated. It was aligned, peaked and tuned for optimal reception, tracking and sound. This wonderful and appealing radio will grace any decor with its handsomeness. A must for the serious collector or those with good taste for things of beauty from yesteryear, it will look and sound great for many years to come.
