I bought this Zenith Trans-Oceanic Radio Model G500 Serial J-276765 from a guy who had the radio restored several years ago. As far as i know the radio has a new covering and looks like replacement parts as well as restored parts. The radio is very clean as shown.

I plugged it in and it plays i found the volume to be very loud and the band switches kind of stick a little. It probably should be checked by a qualified technician anyway. The AC cord was replaced with 16ga cord and is over 10ft long with a polarized plug. I really hate to let this go but it must. The paint on the dial has a small scratch on the black right side, please look at the pictures carefully. It has the the 5G40 chassis and is very clean. Thanks for looking and good luck!
