Zenith Trans-Oceanic Royal 1000D Shortwave/AM Radio Wave-Magnet

This was my grandfather's. I remember listening to foreign countries and languages when I was a kid. The unit powers on with batteries installed. The pots and tuner need cleaning. The chrome and case has some pitting, etc.

The vertical antenna is fully functional, no bends or anything. Battery case is in good shape without any corrosion. All the leather is good except for the shrinkage around the edges.

The wave antenna appears to be in good condition. The rubber suction cups are partially hardened. The log book is in good condition except for a partial tear in the top left. There is also a little writing (8 characters) on the bottom right first page. Please review the pictures for detailed condition.
