ZENITH VINTAGE WOOD TABLETOP MODEL H-845 AM/FM RADIO RESTORED & WORKING

This is a 8 tube radio, it was manufactured in USA and is in great working condition. This radio was marketed as the "Super Interlude" in Zenith advertising. With it's massive(8woofer and 3.5 electrostatic Tweeter), the sound produced is truly amazing. The high quality construction that is (BUILT LIKE A TANK) super heavy duty along with ultimate performance and clarity through it's automatic frequency control. This is one of the few hand wired radios from the factory during that era.

The plastic dial face is super clean with a few minor blemishes, along with the cabinet with age related ware. This radio retains all of it's original factory tubes, all tubes have been tested and are in the proper working order. This set has 3 rotary controls for on/off, volume and tuning control, and tone control. All control knobs are original to this set and functions properly. This radios original power cord is still pliable and in good working order.

This radio has been checked restored electronically with all resisters being checked and replaced as needed. All old wax-paper capacitors were removed and replaced with new modern style capacitors for better reliability, performance and tube longevity. This radio was tested for several days after servicing and is now playing with loud clear volume wile tuning in many local and distant radio stations across the dial.

Reception is good and clear both day and night with great oscillation across the dial. The chassis was cleaned thoroughly as well as all controls being cleaned and lubricated. The wood cabinet has a hand waxed finish, it now retains a nice clean finish. This radio model is getting harder and harder to find, don't let this one slip by. The radio cabinet was thoroughly cleaned and then hand waxed and polished out, for a nice shinny finish. It's a real beauty and should give you years of enjoyment and trouble free service.
